Perfection

If you have seen the movie, then you know it, if you haven't, then I'm here to enlighten you. This dress, worn by Keira Knightley in Atonement, has just been chosen as the best movie costume of all times by Sky Movies and In Style. While I must say that the first place is debatable when it comes to the influence a dress has had on culture - Marilyn's white dress from The seven year itch, Vivian Leigh's curtain dress from Gone with the wind and Audrey Hepburn's eternal LBD from Breakfast at Tiffany's - it certainly appeals to my personal taste more then any of the aforementioned gowns. Jacqueline Durran, I applaud you.

Dreams in a miniture

The Barbican gallery in London is hosting an amazing exhibition called The house of Viktor&Rolf. The Dutch fashion duo created an unique overlook of their work in the last 15 years, including every single one of their signature pieces in miniature versions on porcelain dolls. But it's more then just a collection of clothes and frangrances, it's an instalation. And it's haute couture.

I've always had a soft spot for him. I know he's really mainstream and his N'sync past is still haunting him, but he's also got a certain appeal of a different kind, probably because he's so talented. Michael Jackson/Prince of the new milenium. Only way better looking then both of them. So, here he is in the lastest Givenchy ads for their new fragrance for men, Play.

Infinity pool

An infinity edge pool is a swimming pool which produces a visual effect of water extending to the horizon, vanishing, or extending to "infinity". This effect seriously looks AMAZING and I hearby declare that my goal this year is to take a swim in it. I just have to find it first:)

Green with envy

Envy may not be the finest of the sentiments, but sometimes I just can't help myself. Take this amazing walk-in-closet with over 1000 pairs of shoes and ambiental lighting. It belongs to Mariah Carey. Bitch.

Are you familiar with these amazing cinnamon cookies? You are? Are you aware of the fact, that this chrismasy taste has been oh so resourcefully transformed into a tasty summer treat? Spekulatius ice cream? No? Boy, you are missing out on something great...

Remembere these? The scene in SATC movie, when Samantha is waiting for Smith, covered with sushi? Well, she may be naked, but she gave the whole ensemble a lot of thought, hence the shoes.
